You can use the disk images in this folder to create installation disks for users.
A copy of a disk made by dragging icons is not identical to the original. Disks created from image files are exact duplicates. When you use disk images, you have the assurance that all the files have been duplicated correctly and completely. Installation disks must be copied with Disk Copy. You cannot create installation disks by dragging the disk images. (A copy of this program is included in the Disk Copy folder.)
To use an image file, double-click its icon. When the Disk Copy program opens, click the Start Copy button. You will be prompted to insert a floppy disk. (Disk Copy erases any disk you insert, so choose the disk with care.) When your copy is complete, click Stop Copy.
IMPORTANT: Some installation disks generated from these image files will not function correctly unless the disks are locked before use. You must lock the “Install,” “Disk Tools,” and “Before You Install” disks.
